Receive Jesus
If you have the desire to repent (turn from sin in your heart) and accept what Jesus Christ has done for you on the Cross, then all that’s left is the verbal confession to the Judge (God)!
God asks, “Are you truly sorrowful and willing to walk in purity? Do you accept what Jesus Christ has done for you on the Cross?”
If your answer…your heart answer…is “Yes!” then let’s go to God in prayer right now!
God is simply waiting on you to confess and receive, and when you do, He has promised to hear you, forgive you, cleanse you and set you free from sin and it’s power!
Pray this prayer to God:
“God, I come to You as a sinner who’s broken Your Commandments and lived my own way. I come to you as one who is guilty before You and deserving of eternal seperation from you and eternal punishment. I now realize that You hate sin so much that even one single sin causes You to seperate Yourself from me. I realize also that at the same time You love me so much that You sent Your own Son to die on the Cross in order that I might go free. I turn from sin in my heart at this moment and believe and confess that Jesus Christ is the Only One who took my sin upon Himself and suffered and died for me and then rose again from the dead so that I might go free. I accept what He did for me and ask that You would forgive me of all of my sins and cleanse me from all evil and set me free from the power of sin. I ask that You would take complete control of my life and put Your Holy Spirit in my heart and make me Your child. I thank You for loving me so much and for giving me a brand new start! In the Name of Jesus Christ I pray, Amen!”
